Today was our last full day in the U.K. We spent the morning and afternoon in the British Museum. It was huge but we were able to see almost everything. Josh was really excited to be there. He was like a kid in candy shop and I eventually had to take the camera from him after he took about 200 photos just in the first 2 exhibit rooms.

He was literally running from room to room, making me take his picture next to all the statues and touching all kinds of things he wasn’t supposed to. I was honestly worried we were going to get kicked out, but I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen Josh that excited about anything!

We got to see all kinds of ancient artifacts. I’ve seen lots of mummy exhibits before, but never so many in one place. There were also tons of Greek vases (like from Hercules the Disney movie). Also, we got to see the huge pieces of the Greek Parthenon.

Being there with Josh was like having my own personal tour guide because he knew all the background history of every room we went into – and was more than happy to share.

Of all the crazy – and maybe illegal – stuff josh was doing, I happened to do the most destructive thing while there. In the ancient European section, there were different treasures in huge glass cases. I leaned in to see some rings and didn’t realize the glass was so close. I ended up busting my head on the glass and it shook and made a loud noise. We ended our trip to the museum shortly after that – haha.

Tomorrow we’re off to Paris at 6:30 am! Not sure what the internet situation will be, but we’ll update as soon as we are able! We love you all! Cheers!
